Every Monday there will be a new addition to practice session, the same great social dancing now with a beginner Lindy Hop lesson from 7:30 to 8:30. You’ve asked for one a lesson, now you got it. This lesson will be a drop in style lesson for $10, which includes the dancing. Progressive lessons start with the basics each first Monday of the month.
- 1st Mondays: Newcomer Night. The first Monday will cover 8-count basics. No experience necessary and no partner required!
- 2nd & 3rd Mondays: Building on Lindy Hop basics. All levels are welcome! Come out and work on your Lindy Hop fundamentals and technique in the class. The moves will be taught so you can dance them by the end of the class. Experienced dancers can come and practice the fine points of connection and technique if you are looking to move beyond your basics.
- 4th &5th Mondays: Mike’s favorite new moves. This lesson will give something challenging for leaders and followers to work on. Come towards the end of the month and add to your toolbox of cool moves and style. We will also work in guest instructors so join the e-mail list to stay informed. Social dancing begins as usual on Mondays at 8:30 until 10:45. Come practice your Lindy Hop by social dancing, practicing with a partner, or watching. You’ll find a wide range of dance experience from the complete novice to the expert. No partner or experience required!
